Planning your first visit
Coming to a new church for the first time can feel daunting — we try to make it easy. Someone will greet you at the door, and there's no expectation you'll know what to do. Just follow along, or ask the person next to you.
Services usually run about an hour. Come as you are — there's no dress code. Families and children are always welcome, and there's space at the back if little ones need to move about.
- 01Arrive a few minutes early — hymn sheets and newsletters are at the entrance.
- 02Communion is for baptised Catholics; everyone else is welcome to come forward for a blessing.
- 03Stand, sit and kneel as the congregation does — nobody will mind if you're a step behind.
- 04Stay for tea and coffee in the parish hall after the 9:30am Mass.
